With the holiday season in full swing, most of you will have their gift shopping done already. Though it’s a safe bet that many haven't even started yet.

Here are some gift ideas for the Colorado Avalanche fan on your list.

(yes, I’m aware we’re well past the time where you can order a gift that will arrive for Christmas morning, but hey, Santa is magic, right?)

Do you know anyone who needs some new dress socks to wear with your best suit? Well not you can look good - Hall of Fame style. These beautiful Hall of Fame Original socks come with the beautiful mug of Colorado’s beautiful General Manager. They’d make the perfect stocking suffer.

Joe Sakic socks

These socks also come in Peter Forsberg, Ray Bourque and Patrick Roy editions.

When you walk around and Avalanche home game, you will see any number of names on the back of a fan’s Avalanche jersey - MacKinnon, Landeskog, Johnson - but it’s the obscure ones that are always the most fun. Want to stand up? How about this Sami Aittokallio jersey.

If you don’t remember Sami, he was the fourth-round pick back in 2010 who made two appearances in as the Avs backup goalie between 2012 and 2014. He played a grand total of 89 minutes in an NHL net making 38 saves on 43 shots. I’d wager you’d be the only one walking around the Pepsi Center concourse in this jersey and it would only cost you...$495.

Need to keep your Coors Light Rocky Mountain cold during the game? The team’s official site is selling these laced bottle coolers.

Now this one is really cool. Frameworth a sports marketing company that sells a huge selection of authentic autographed sports merchandise. Anything from a puck with the mascot’s signature on it to some truly rare memorabilia. This one is a legitimate collector’s item.

Nathan MacKinnon Team Kenya jersey

This is an autographed Nathan MacKinnon Kenya Ice Lions jersey. For those unfamiliar with the story, the Ice Lions are a group of Kenyans that against all odds have fallen in love with the game of hockey. No goalies, not opponents to play against, this team is a group of self-tough fans who play the game in the most pure way - for no other reason than they love the sport. Last year, Tim Hortons paid for the team to come over to Canada to skate in the kind of arenas that aren’t normally available to them and to have a few exhibition games. Since the team didn’t have a goalie, they asked if Tim Hortons could find them a local to fill in during the games. They went one step further, surprising the Ice Lions with a couple of ringers - Nathan MacKinnon and Sidney Crosby.

If you have a few minutes, the documentary about the experience is well worth watching.

At $650, this jersey is not cheap but for the collectors out there, it’s a once in a lifetime purchase.

Who doesn’t like an autographed picture of their favorite player? Luckily, the Avalanche still has a few authentic 16” x 20” glossies autographed by No. 9 himself, Matt Duchene. And they’re even on sale! An absolutely wonderful addition to the wall of any fan cave in Denver.

Speaking of pictures. For the big Ryan Stoa fan out there, how about this? An eBay user is selling a eight pack of pictures taken of the former Avalanche second round pick. I wish I were making this up, but it’s all too real.

The group of pictures can be yours for only $5.32 (or $7 CAD). Ok this is just weird. If you’re bored at work one day, I suggest going onto eBay and searching “Colorado Avalanche”, you’ll find a lot of wacky stuff on there.
