Let’s talk NHL trade deadline. We’ll be talking all news, rumors and analysis that affects the Avalanche as the day goes on.
Avalanche Update:
The Avs have sent Sheldon Dries, Andrew Aggozino and A.J. Greer down to the Eagles to make them AHL playoff eligible. Dries was immediately called back up.

Update 1:30mt
Another biggie
Hearing Erik Gudbranson on the move, from VAN to PIT.

Update: 1:20mt
The dream of Mark Stone coming as a free agent is dead. He already has an extension with Vegas
Stone’s AAV on an eight-year deal with VGK is $9.5M.

So Stone with an extension ends up costing the equivalent of Cale Makar + 2020 2nd + Calvert
Update 1:10mt
Ryan Hartman and a pick to Philly for Simmonds https://t.co/oqf8LGSDSf

Update 1:05mt
Wayne Simmonds to Nashville
Update:
The full Stone deal. That is an incredible deal for Ottawa. Brannstrom is probably the 3rd best D prospect in all of hockey behind Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar.
Per @DarrenDreger, OTT receives Brannstrom, Oscar Lindberg and DAL 2nd round pick in 2020 for Mark Stone.

Update 12:45mt:
Mark Stone to Vegas is done. With an extension?
The Vegas Golden Knights are acquiring Mark Stone, and I am hearing an extension won’t be far behind. #VegasBorn

Update 12:40mt:
A big time Central division deal
Mikael Granlund from Minnesota to Nashville for Kevin Fiala.

Update 12:20mt
With one hour to the deadline, Vegas and Ottawa were working hard on a Mark Stone deal. Nashville was in there, too, and I think Calgary circled back. But the Golden Knights appeared to be the favourites. Let's see.

Update 11:30mt
Boom:
Brassard to Colorado for a third, sounds like

Update 11:10mt
2 hours to go, LAK check in:
— Dennis Bernstein (@DennisTFP) February 25, 2019
Our takes:
Jonathan Quick - not out of question he is dealt today but will not last in LA past this summer.
Tyler Toffoli - if dealt today likely would return 2nd round pick and prospect. Season knocked down value as the case all LA trade assets.
If that’s the price for Toffoli, Joe should be all over it.
Update 10:30mt
