SBNation 2019 NHL Mock Draft: We have another trade

The Avalanche move back into the first round

With only two picks left in the 2019 SBNation Mock NHL Draft, we at Mile High Hockey have decided to move back into the end of the first round. The Colorado Avalanche have traded for the 30th pick:

To COL: 30th overall

To BOS: 47th overall + 49th overall (From NYR)

Earlier in the draft we acquired the 49th overall pick as a part of a trade that saw us moving down from 16 to 20.

Having already selected Kirby Dach (4th) and Cam York (20th), we will now be selecting at 30th overall later today.

This trade was an opportunity that we couldn’t pass up as we see a few players at the end of the first round that would bring great value to the 30th overall pick.
