Finally after signing his brand new four-year $16.4M contract with the Colorado Avalanche early this week, Devon Toews spoke to the media about the trade from the New York Islanders and new opportunity in Colorado.

Canada has set their plans for World Junior selection camp beginning on November 16th until they head to Edmonton on December 13th. Three Avalanche prospects have been named to the roster including returning gold medalist Bowen Byram plus Alex Newhook and Justin Barron.

Speaking of Alex Newhook, he chatted about how he’s preparing for the selection camp and upcoming season while at Boston College.

Bowen Byram also talked to TSN about his time in the Edmonton bubble with the Avalanche and heading there once again with Team Canada.

In other prospect news, Martin Kaut has found himself a new team once again after the Czech Extraliga has been on a pause for several weeks. He now heads to Sweden to play for MODO in the Allsvenskan and will return to the Avalanche when training camp begins.
