After a dominating 6-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres the five-game road trip continues for the Colorado Avalanche as they travel to their next stop in Ottawa for a day of practice before facing the Senators on Thursday night.

Captain Gabe Landeskog had the chance to experience life as a cadet for a day in a visit to the Air Force Academy.

Preparations are underway to create the rink for the upcoming outdoor game at Falcon Stadium, which takes nearly two weeks to complete.

Now that it is February it means time is drawing near for the 12th invasion of the Eurolanche, the greatest European fan club of the Avalanche who travel annually to Denver.

As always, an insightful and interesting player agent poll from The Athletic.

Alex Ovechkin continues to chase history as in a 4-2 Washington win over the LA Kings he scored a natural hat trick and his fourth of the season to end the evening at 698 goals and sit exactly 40 for the season in 53 games.

For the baseball fans out there, you’re probably aware that the Boston Red Sox traded Mookie Betts to the Los Angeles Dodgers last night. It didn’t take long for other sports fans to roast them over the deal.
