After splitting their first two games of the preseason and getting an extended break to rest, the Avalanche enter the their second week of exhibition games with a very busy schedule. Playing four games in the next six days, the Avs will look to get everyone prepared for the start of the regular season next week while making sure to get a lot of ice time for a few youngsters before they’re sent down.
Time: 6:00 PM Mountain Time
Location: Xcel Energy Center
Unfortunately this game will not be televised at all - stupid Minnesota - so fans will have to wait until tomorrow’s home game against Vegas to see the team back in action.
With so many games this week, the Avs will be going with a lineup tonight that consists mainly of guys who won’t be playing at the NHL level this season. That said, the team’s starting goaltender Darcy Kuemper will get some more game action in an arena he used to call home.

We’ll also see 2021 first round pick Oskar Olausson in the lineup for the third time. With the OHL season set to start this week, this might be the last time we see the youngster before he is sent back to Barrie.
